UAE-based dining, catering and restaurant management firm Tawasy Group has opened its first restaurant, Tawasy Restaurant and Grill, in Dubai Festival City.
The restaurant will serve Arabic and Mediterranean cuisine.
The company plans to open 10 more restaurants in the UAE in the next four years and will expand across the GCC through franchising programmes.
Rami Wardeh, CEO, Tawasy Group, said: “Consumers in Dubai are very discerning and look out for new dining concepts to make their eating out experience unique and through our new outlet, we aim to address their demands.
“Tawasy Restaurant and Grill will carve for itself a niche by serving award-winning traditional homemade recipes from Arabian and Mediterranean regions, prepared in a certified modern kitchen using only the freshest and carefully selected authentic ingredients. We aim to set a benchmark not just in the quality of our food, but also through our excellent service.”
Established in 2009, Tawasy Group started out specialising in gourmet catering, home delivery, and horeca food supply.
The company is behind Arabic grill delivery and takeaway concepts, Mashawi2Go and Manqeesh2Go.
