The Surreal Iftar – A magical and memorable Ramadan dining experience
Taking place amidst the enchanting ambience of the Surreal water feature – where water defies gravity in a spectacular display of water, uplifting music and dramatic fire – the Surreal Iftar is an occasion to remember.
With the magical backdrop complemented by magnificent sunset views, the Surreal water feature is a memorable location for guests to break their fast.
As walls of water plummet from four storeys high, guests are invited to explore a wide range of live cooking stations and sample a tempting fusion of traditional dishes and reimagined favourites lovingly crafted by a line-up of celebrated guest chefs.
The diverse culinary journey is complemented by an array of Ramadan desserts and beverages, including Arabic delights such as halawet el jeben (sweet cheese rolls) with pistachio cream, hand-made baklava; mastic smoked jallab (fruit syrup) with pine nuts; homemade apricot-based drink qamar al-deen; sour laban aryan (a savoury yoghurt-based beverage) and traditional coffee and tea.

Oasis Iftar – a feast for all
Embrace the spirit of togetherness with the Oasis Iftar, where the focus is on family-friendly dining. With nine food pods offering a range of flavoursome options for families, guests will enjoy a dining journey that starts with heartwarming soups, vibrant salads, and live stations serving savoury pastries, falafel, foul and chicken shawarma. Main courses will appeal to all tastes and dietary preferences with an extensive selection of dishes including authentic lamb biryani and live foul stations.
The menu concludes with a range of delectable sweets, including lokaymat (sweet dumplings) with organic date syrup and roasted sesame seeds; assorted qatayef (stuffed, fried pancakes); a kunafa (traditional Middle Eastern dessert, made with spun pastry) served with homemade sesame karak bread, orange blossom syrup and crushed pistachio. Complementing the food is a selection of traditional beverages, coffee, tea and juices.

As the evening progresses, Oasis Food Hall will transform for an exquisite suhoor experience. Guests are invited to savour an array of mezze, decadent desserts, and aromatic shishas in a specially designated area that boasts amazing views over Expo City Dubai.

Created by world-renowned chef Alexander Smalls, the James Beard Award-winning chef and author, Alkebulan has curated its African-inspired iftar, while those who love spicy and vibrant Indian food will adore the tasty Indian appetisers, creamy curries and traditional Indian desserts offered as part of the Gup & Shup iftar experience.
Those on a plant-based diet will adore the special vegan-friendly iftar at PXB. Ideal for anyone who wants to invest in their health and wellness over Ramadan, the creative iftar menu features balanced and delicious dishes such as Ceaser salad, Mexican bowls, creamy hummus, and mixed roasted vegetables.
