Born from a genuine joy for hosting, Isabel Mayfair is about bringing people together with style, elegance, and a bit of fun. This is the first international opening for Isabel Mayfair, leading an exciting global expansion plan. This opening has been led by Scottie Bhattarai, CEO of BNF Hospitality, who has an eclectic selection of F&B concepts across London, Manchester (UK), New York, and now the Middle East. His vision for Isabel Mayfair is to be globally recognised as the epitome of elegant, experiential hospitality, where every interaction radiates quality, and every moment is infused with style.
For the brand’s entrance into Arabia, the team have brought exceptional food, stylish service, and out-of-this-world interiors with them, offering true European glamour. Located in the central district of As Sulimaniyah, the venue was designed by David T’kint of DTK Studio in the style of an art-deco mansion, layered with Gatsby-era glamour and rich detail for the surprise and delight of guests. There are three main areas; the elegant dining room, airy conservatory, and alluring speakeasy bar found behind a hidden door. The interiors feature LED backdrops by Pulse, displaying ever-changing content to reflect the mood of the day.
Isabel Mayfair serves Mediterranean inspired cuisine in a traditional ‘French’ dining style, perfected with nostalgic English etiquette. The menu has been a collaboration between two passionate Chefs; Yago Crego (Executive Head Chef), and Majed Albakheet (Senior Head Chef here in Riyadh). Coming with a degree from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, Majed is also known for his appearance in Top Chef MENA Season 6 and has skilfully adapted Isabel Mayfair’s signature dishes to local tastes. The menu is led by the seasons, with ingredients sourced from local organic farms for the good of our bodies and the planet, and for a soulful, social dining experience. Expect dreamy pistachio dip with a flash of heat, padron peppers infused with sea salt, freshly baked focaccia with homemade paprika butter, creamy pastas, tender Tomahawk steak flaking from the bone, and sticky date pudding with warm toffee sauce among many more.
A hand-picked non-alcoholic cocktail menu balances classic flavours with new creations that change with the seasons. Promising to be exceptional and innovative, they’re presented with flair for a moment of wow. We also offer rejuvenating coffees and a careful selection of teas (Isabel comes from Britain after all).
This opening has been led by Scottie Bhattarai, CEO of BNF Hospitality, who has an eclectic selection of F&B concepts across London, Manchester (UK), New York, and now the Middle East . Scottie was impressed with the warm welcome he experienced on his first visit to Saudi Arabia, from the local driver at the airport to a passerby in the street who invited him for coffee – the hospitality he received was unlike any other he had experienced, he says.
“This cultural alignment makes Riyadh a fitting choice for Isabel Mayfair, a brand rooted in offering exceptional hospitality to its guests. Another reason behind our decision to choose Riyadh as the first international location is due to the rapid development and dynamic growth in the city, alongside a strong sense of hospitality that aligns with the brand’s core values. The pace of innovation and creativity is impressive.” Says Scottie.
