Chef Wladimiro Gadioli from Italy has joined Al Ain Rotana as the resort’s executive chef.
His experience includes working for his family business in Italy; a stint at a Michelin-starred restaurant with Chef Gualtiero Marchesi; and most recently he was corporate executive chef of Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC).
Gadioli has been living in the UAE for seven years and has experience working with international hotel companies such as Hyatt, Jumeirah Group and AccorHotels across India, France, Italy and Switzerland.
In his new role, he will oversee Al Ain Rotana’s six dining outlets, including signature venue Trader Vic’s, a French Polynesian restaurant; Min Zaman Lebanese restaurant; Zest all-day dining; and Atrium lobby café.
He will also look after the hotel’s in-room dining and banquets and catering events ranging in size from small meetings to large weddings hosting more than 700 guests.
