Following a multimillion-dirham investment, Habtoor Group’s Metropolitan Catering has re-opened.
The refurbished facility features new kitchen facilities spanning 18,000ft2 with the capacity to produce 45,000 meals per day.
Established for more than three decades, the facility, located in Jebel Ali Free Zone, offers private, corporate and commercial catering, with a focus on quality and value for money.
Al Habtoor group vice chairman and CEO Mohammed Al Habtoor inaugurated the refurbished Metropolitan Catering on 12 July.
He commented: “Metropolitan Catering is a fresh and forward thinking company improving in line with the growing demands of Dubai clientele. The recent renovation is a manifestation of the growing a culture of excellence from within to consistently deliver the highest quality of food, service and value.”
In line with the new facilities in the Jebel Al Free Zone, Metropolitan Catering also unveiled a fresh brand identity, which was showcased at this year’s Arabian Travel Market.
Earlier this year, the company also welcomed new general manager, Ramy El Sayah, who will oversee more than 170 chefs, hospitality professionals and logistics experts.
El Sayah said: “It is a very exciting time for us, we are immensely proud of the new facilities and we’re looking forward to continuing to grow our operation.
“The investment has elevated Metropolitan Catering to a stand out choice amongst its peers and we’re looking forward to winning new business as a result.”
