Shangri-La Dubai has introduced several offers for Dubai residents and visitors in line with the launch of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts’ ‘The Table by Golden Circle’, a new F&B loyalty programme.
The new offers coincide with a AED 70 million renovation across the hotel’s 302 guest rooms and public areas, including the Lobby Lounge and Dunes Café, which is scheduled to be completed in October 2016.
Members of Shangri-La’s Golden Circle can now redeem 25% off all food and beverage in Shangri-La Dubai; double their Golden Circle points when dining at Shang Palace or Dunes Café for lunch from Saturday to Thursday; and receive two complimentary bottles of grape when dining with 10 or more people.
Additional special complimentary offers are available for specific Golden Circle members including a glass of fizz for birthdays; pool access for two; chef’s choice of appetiser at Vietnamese restaurant Hoi An for dinner from Saturday – Wednesday; and chef’s choice of appetiser at signature fine-dining restaurant Shang Palace, during lunch or dinner, from Sunday – Tuesday.
Discussing the development of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts’ The Table by Golden Circle, Shangri-La’s chief marketing officer Steven Taylor commented: “Our consumer research reaffirmed that the emotion attached to a dining experience is far more appealing than the functional benefit of discounts and points.
“Loyalty programmes must adapt to this trend and become increasingly more experiential. Through ‘The Table’s’ unmatched rewards, we are giving guests greater access to culinary experiences worth savouring. And the more they dine with us, the better these experiences get.”
The Table is fully integrated with Shangri-La’s Golden Circle loyalty programme and recognises members through achievable redemptions and access to signature food experiences, events and offers.

- More Rewards: Members can now earn Golden Circle Award Points by dining and drinking at the more than 500 restaurants and bars found in Shangri-La, Hotel Jen, Kerry and Traders properties globally when they are non-staying guests.
- Instant Indulgence: Instant Dining Rewards allows members to earn and redeem Golden Circle award points on the spot – no pre-planning or vouchers required.
- Elite Rewards: Jade and Diamond level members receive bonus earnings and more value on redemptions for dining transactions.
- Sweeter Deals: Members receive Golden Circle Award Points on all qualifying transactions, including discounts.

Guests searching for restaurants and bars will find options categorised under five moods – elegant, intimate, upbeat, chill and adventurous – or by curated experiences, local offers and member benefits.
The site gives members access to special offers and features immersive stories and videos, which spotlight the individuals behind the food and drink, as well as signature dishes and recipes.
