UK-founded Portuguese restaurant concept, Veri Peri, has entered the UAE market following its Middle East debut in Riyadh last year.
The first Veri Peri in the country will open at Copthorne Hotel Dubai in Deira this month, with a second outlet scheduled to launch in Motor City in December.
Offering an authentic, Portuguese experience, the quick-service brand was first established in Harrow, London in 2013 and has a second UK branch in Bradford.
Fahad Abdullah, head of marketing, Veri Peri commented: “We are very excited to be launching our first outlet in the UAE as we believe the market is the right fit and that our offering will suit the variety of taste buds present in Dubai.
“We are a family-friendly, casual dining establishment and our extensive menu ensures that we have something for everyone. We want to offer guests an authentically Portuguese culinary experience that will leave them licking their lips and coming back for more.”
Some of the restaurant’s signature dishes are Veri Peri beef espetada and Veri Peri flame grilled chicken, while ‘quenchers’ include sparkling lemon juice, lemon mint and a ‘Sunshine’ mocktail.
Veri Peri has also created its own range of Veri Peri sauces, with six flavours available, including flaming hot, garlic, and lime and coriander.
Veri Peri’s UAE outlets will operate from 12pm – 12am daily.
