Seafood-led restaurant, Cherabinth has officially opened its doors in Dubai’s tranquil Al Barari community. Showcasing an entirely seafood and fish menu, Cherabinth serves fresh fare from breakfast through to dinner in an inviting, laid-back space nestled amongst an abundance of natural greenery and flora at the bank of the lake, created with the whole family in mind and designed to make all ages feel welcome and relaxed.
Presenting guests with an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of city life, the waterside restaurant prides itself on quality, with its fresh seafood sourced from both local and international waters every week.
Set to be a signature at Cherabinth is its fish and chips, not one, but five ways. In addition to the original, guests can dabble in tempting twists on the British classic including cod katsu, ginger beer batter fish, cayenne cod, and tempura fish.
Canadian lobster also stars on the ocean-inspired menu and can be enjoyed whole from the grill, generously drizzled with lemon butter, in an indulgent risotto with bisque reduction, or an incredibly Moorish truffle mac and cheese. Sizzling garlic prawns from the Med are a surefire favourite, as is the seafood bouillabaisse with mussels, scallops, and cod.
Parents will find child-friendly dishes available on the dedicated kids’ menu that features delicious options for the littles, including crispy cheesy salmon sandwiches, mixed seafood burgers, crispy prawns, and more.
Breakfasts promise a memorable experience at Cherabinth, with the occasion serving up a menu of its own. Highlight dishes include eggs benedict with accompaniments of smoked salmon, smoked mackerel, and prawns, as well as spicy shrimp scramble, seafood frittata, smoked salmon, and a prawn breakfast burrito, plus plenty more. Not forgetting freshly squeezed fruit juices.
A seafood dining destination created to make guests feel close to the water, Cherabinth’s seaside-inspired interiors seamlessly blend natural and vibrant elements, to mimic brightly coloured sea life swimming through open waters. Expect rustic wooden features throughout with oak coloured paneling, chairs, and light fixtures combined with rope and warm lighting. A life-size wooden boat takes center stage in the restaurant for guests to dine in, alongside a gigantic three-dimensional multi-coloured octopus, custom-made for the main wall to create an underwater feel and offer an element of fun. To suit the lush outdoor surroundings, Cherabinth’s quirky, contemporary interiors also feature an abundance of greenery.
A market-style display and freshwater lobster tanks in the restaurant allow diners to handpick their catch, before pairing it with sides and a sauce of their preference, to create an interactive and entirely guest-led experience.
Offering both indoor and outdoor seating, Cherabinth overlooks the beautiful botanical gardens of Al Barari and is completed by an idyllic lake directly outside, a fully-equipped children’s playground, and a luscious picnic area, which will be set up for personalised BBQ experiences for guests in the cooler months.
Now open and welcoming guests, Cherabinth’s laid-back, neighbourhood ambience promises a relaxing visit for everyone – whether it be for an indulgent breakfast, leisurely lunch, or dinner with family.
Cherabinth is located on the Lower Ground Floor, Seventh Heaven, Al Barari, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is open daily from 7.30am to 10.30pm on weekdays and 11pm on weekends, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
