A Dubai based hotel teamed up with the Roads Transport Authority (RTA) to give out 300 free packed lunches to taxi drivers.

The M Hotel Downtown gave out the lunches on Tuesday, 7 February, and Wednesday, 8 February, as part of their community project between 1-3pm.
Daniel Mathew, the General Manager of M Hotel Downtown by Millennium, said:“We believe that it doesn’t have to be a special occasion or holiday, to give back to our local community. We are positive that this project will bring shear happiness to our taxi drivers. We are also glad that RTA helped us in making this project a success.”
The meals were prepared at the hotel’s restaurant and main f&b outlet, Lemon Pepper.
Distribution of the meals took place over the two days with 150 lunchboxes given out in each two hour session.
