Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has appointed Richard Raab as the new general manager of Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay.
His previous role was as acting general manager at Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeriah Beach.
Raab spoke about the luxurious surroundings of his new role.
“I could hardly believe my eyes when I first saw this remarkable building, surrounded by beautiful gardens on its own island in the middle of the city,” he said, referring to the 250,000 sqm complex.

Born in Sweden and educated in the UK and Switzerland, Raab has worked in six different countries before arriving in Bahrain.
Raab’s resume includes the Beverly Wilshire in Los Angeles as well as roles in London, Hawaii, the Caribbean and St Petersburg.
Four Seasons president, hotel operations Europe, Middle East and Africa Simon Casson spoke about Raab and his new role.
“Richard is a consummate hotelier whose extensive experience in resort management and food and beverage will be a great asset to Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay,” said Casson.
“Having worked side by side to open our Jumeirah Beach resort, I wish Richard well in his new position, with full confidence in his future success.”
