Suppliers of products and services to the hotel industry from all over the world will come together next week for HOTEC Middle East.
The event which kicks off on Tuesday, 25 April, is taking place at the Fairmont Baku, Flame Towers in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Key industry suppliers will liaise with leading hotel owners, operators, designers and procurement specialists in the Middle East, for three days of meetings and networking.
Stephen Pace-Bonello, event director for HOTEC Middle East, pictured right, said: “We are excited to be taking HOTEC Middle East to Baku this year. Buyers and suppliers are looking forward to this ‘new’ location and, more importantly, to a successful and enjoyable event.
“HOTEC attendees expect to spend quality time with peers, existing contacts and potential new clients. We are committed to facilitating this by putting together a programme that is efficient and fun, where people meet and talk business in both formal and more casual situations.”
The event starts on the 25th with a dinner reception at the hotel.
The first business day starts with a brief seminar session. Caroline List, International Sales Manager at TopHotelProjects will make a presentation about Hotel Construction Pipeline in The Middle East, which will be followed by a panel discussion about Creative Sourcing. The panel consists of participating delegates and will be chaired by Patrick Ryan, editor of Hotel News Middle East.
Next on the agenda is a full day of scheduled meetings. Prior to the start of the event, participants have selected their preferred meetings and personalised schedules have been prepared based on the indicated preferences.
The second and final day of meetings will be held on Thursday.
HOTEC Middle East is one of 15 appointment-based events organised by Questex-McLean Events for four different industries worldwide.
