Copthorne Hotel Dubai has appointed Liji Chacko as its new director of finance and business support.
Chacko, a spokesperson explained, brings more than two decades of experience in finance, accounts and general administration and will provide guidance on all plans, targets and business drivers and also ensure timely closing and reporting of accounts and financial statements of the property.
Glenn Nobbs, general manager of Copthorne Hotel Dubai said: “We are delighted to welcome Mr Liji Chacko to our team. Liji has been part of the Millennium family since 2003 when Millennium & Copthorne took over the management of our sister hotel, Millennium Airport Hotel.
“With his solid years of experience in finance and accounts, he will play a vital role in developing the business strategy across all areas of the property.”
Holding a master’s degree in Commerce, Chacko started his hospitality career as Chief Accountant at Millennium Airport Hotel in 1994, overseeing the entire accounts and finance-related functions of the property before rising to the role of director of finance and business support at Copthorne Hotel Dubai this year.
