The menu at Banyan Tree Al Wadi’s modern Arabic restaurant, Al Waha, has been overhauled under the guidance of recently appointed chef de cuisine, Tamer Alnoty.
Chef Alnoty brings experience from a number of five-star hotels across the UAE including Ajman Saray, Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa by Anantara and The St. Regis Hotel Saadiyat Island.
The new menu takes inspiration from Middle Eastern dishes spanning Jordan to North Africa in addition to international options.
Menu items include baba ghanouj, hummus, jazar chermoula, lamb tagine, kibbeh bi laban and ouzi bil lahem as well as a selection of mixed grills and desserts.
Chef has also taken inspiration from Greece, Italy, Asia and beyond, with options such as tempura fried rock shrimps or coeur de salmon fume, in addition to pastas, sandwiches, steaks and seafood.
Al Waha has also introduced a new two-course lunch menu, which is available every day from 12.30pm to 3.30pm at AED 110.
Al Waha is open from 6.30am to 12.00am daily.
