The Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel & Suites in Dubai Marina, has appointed Chadi Terro as executive chef.
Originally from Barja, Lebanon, Terro started his career at Le Meridien Beirut, Intercontinental Phoenicia Beirut, before moving to InterContinental Doha as sous chef of Fish Market, the hotel’s award-winning seafood restaurant.
He later moved to the UAE where he took up the role of chef de cuisine at Shangri-La Hotel Dubai, where he remained for four years.
Most recently, Terro was executive sous chef/ acting sous chef for five years at Beach Rotana Hotel & Towers in Abu Dhabi where he oversaw eleven restaurants and one of the largest banqueting facilities in the region.
During his 17-year career he has worked in pre-opening roles and at a number of large-scale events across the region, including a regional tourism event in Johannesburg, where he represented the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority and Etihad Airways at
In his new position, Chef Chadi will lead the teams of The Observatory, and Counter Culture Café, the recently refreshed deli, bistro and bar plus.
