Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre has appointed US national Dwayne Thomas Krisko as executive chef.
Krisko trained at the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts, a partner of the Cordon Bleu Schools in Pittsburgh, USA.
Krisko commented: “Dubai has certainly positioned itself on the map in terms of world-class food, the competition is strong, and this provides a great proving ground for new concepts, flavours, and the opportunity to create bespoke experiences. I look forward to my time here, and bringing my unique style to our guests and visitors.”
Specialising in fine dining cuisine, Krisko has held positions in a variety of locations including small boutique restaurants, private country clubs and hotels.
Following in a stint in London, the chef moved to Lebanon in 2009, where he was head chef of La Petite Maison, the third location for the Dubai concept.
In 2014 he joined Novotel Abu Dhabi Gate before joining Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre, another AccorHotels property.
In his current role, Krisko oversees the culinary direction for the property’s four restaurants and bars.
“We’re so pleased Dwayne is heading the culinary team at the Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre,” said Mr Nishan Silva, general manager, Pullman Dubai Creek City Centre.
“His experience, his drive, and his organisational nature make him the perfect choice for this diverse role.”
