First Central Hotel Apartments has welcomed seasoned hotelier, Wael El Behi as the new general manager at the property. In his new role, El Behi will oversee all operations of the 524-room property, including guest services, sales and marketing efforts and hotel administration. 
Abdulla Al Shammar, managing director, Central Hotels said: “Based on Wael’s management and operational expertise, we are confident that he will be instrumental in ensuring the success of First Central Hotel Apartments and will be a great asset to the property.”
El Behi brings with him a wealth of hospitality industry experience, El Behi most recently served as general manager of Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham, where he was in-charge of pre-opening and opening operations of the hotel. Before that, he worked as general manager of Ramada Downtown Dubai and established the property in the Downtown area.
Commenting on his appointment, El Behi said: “I am honoured to join First Central Hotel Apartments and participate in the business development and expansion of Central Hotels, the hospitality division of New Dubai Properties with 5 developing upscale projects in Palm Jumeirah, Business Bay, and Deira Islands.
