LINDT’s Master Swiss Chocolatier Matthew Müller teaming up with the Swissotel chefs, has reimagined the traditional afternoon tea experience, inspired by various notes of LINDT chocolates, curating a delicate experience that celebrates the flavours of Christmas along with the Swiss heritage.
Embark on the afternoon tea experience with welcome drinks of Mistletoe Mint Chocolate Martini, a drink with liquid LINDT Chocolate blended with mint and cinnamon, topped up with whipped cream and LINDT-ccino for the children, a hot-chocolate drink with LINDT chocolate and smoked marshmallows.
A beautiful Christmas tree inspired afternoon tea rack is then presented, adorned with bauble-like Lindor balls and LINDT Santa chocolate, as guests relish delicate savoury bites of candied bacon-wrapped figs with LINDT chocolate dip, pomegranate pistachio with cream cheese & LINDT dark chocolate crostini’s, LINDT dark chocolate crusted Chicken Terrine with grape chutney, Steak Au Poivre skewers, and Parmesan-crusted Brussel sprouts with creamy chestnut puree dip. Indulge the sweet tooth with LINDT 70% Dark chocolate tarts with raspberry pureé, LINDT white chocolate truffles, LINDT milk chocolate Swiss Rolls.
Complementing the experience is a collection of free-flowing Nespresso coffee and Swissôtel’s signature infused tea collection of Green Tea with Mint and Cinnamon, Earl Grey with Ginger and Lime and Chamomile Tea with garlic infused honey.
While adults enjoy the experience, the “Little Explorers” are presented with a treasure box, filled with festive snacks, treats and macaroons.
Matthew has been a resident Master Chocolatier for LINDT in the Middle East, Africa and Indian Subcontinent Region since 2012. He is a passionate ambassador, who has been instrumental in creating recipes, curating various exclusive events, and who has inspired many to with the stories of the evolution of Lindt Chocolate, and how it can be seamlessly applied in our household kitchens.

The LINDT Festive Afternoon Tea is served daily from 28th November until 7th January at Yasmine Lounge from 12 pm to 6 pm and is priced at AED 135 for two adults and one child up to 12 years and AED 39 for additional children.

On the 8th, 15th, 21st and 22nd of December, families can combine the Lindt Festive Afternoon Tea experience with Gingerbread house making workshop at 2 pm and 4 pm priced at AED 175 for two adults and one child, and AED 75 per additional child. On booking this experience on 8th December, guests can also enjoy the Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony at the hotel starting from 6pm.
