Karcher launches new cleaning machine:
Karcher launched its latest cleaning machine to its portfolio, the BRC Machine at this year’s Hotel Show. The BRC is designed for the deep and intermediate cleaning of carpets. “When the machine is used for deep cleaning the area covered is 350 m2/h but on the intermediate setting, the area increases to 1,000 m2/h,” explained Sreekumar Panicker, head of UAE sales for Karcher ME.
Glowlife exhibits new pendant lights
LED decorative lighting producer, Glowlife exhibited a new range of lighting products available to the hospitality industry including the Rope Pendant Lights Collection available in in copper lamp style, with glass and metal finishes in a variety of different styles. The six rope clustered pendant light comes is 2m long and 1.5cm in thickness.
Intercoil launches NG Mattress
Intercoil International showcased its revolutionary NGMatt mattress at The Hotel Show 2016. Artificially intelligent, the NGMatt dynamically and intelligently self-adjusts to suit an individual’s ergonomic needs, responding to a sleeper’s position, patterns and physical attributes. Controlled through a smartphone app, either on iOS or Android, the intelligent mattress records and reports the sleep quality of each individual, while allowing users complete control over its 24 configurable elements.
BAGNODESIGN
For the first time this year, The Hotel Show played host to a number of interactive features including the live painting of two art installations – a collaboration between 17A Art Consultants and BAGNODESIGN focused on the future of hospitality and bathroom design.
Italian chair supplier Segis showcases its Breeze range
Italian chair designers and manufacturer, Segis exhibited its famous stacking Breeze chairs by Carlo Bartoli at this year’s Hotel Show. The stacking armchairs are built with aluminum frames, available in satin, polished or powder coated finish. The Seat and back panels are made from recyclable polypropylene available in fire retardant or UV proof material for outdoor use.
Al Diyafa Hotel and Catering Supplies
Al Diyafa Hotel and Catering Supplies showcased its US-made banqueting table and a range of durable glasses for the first time in the Middle East at The Hotel Show.
“We received excellent feedback for our Isinglass (US) glass ice chests and banqueting tables. Furthermore, visitors were excited by the versatile range of Mitchell and Cooper (UK) bar items we displayed.” Explained Adam Rahmani, director, Al Diyafa Hotel and Catering Supplies.
Dubai International Hospitality Week to launch in 2017
Dubai is set to welcome a new hospitality event – The Dubai International Hospitality Week, organised by Dubai World Trade Centre and dmg events. The Dubai International Hospitality Week will bring together The Hotel Show alongside the launch of DWTC’s GulfHost. The new event has already been given the seal of approval by Dubai Tourism and is anticipated to attract more than 50,000 visitors when it opens at the Dubai World Trade Centre in September 2017. The Hotel Show and GulfHost will run over three days, whilst an extended week of live events will take place around the key hospitality and foodservice exhibitions.
