The MICHELIN Guide Dubai proudly announces the return of the 3rd edition of the MICHELIN Guide Ceremony Dubai, following its success last year.
The MICHELIN Guide Ceremony will take place on Thursday 4 July in Dubai, a colourful destination of diverse culinary experiences. This prestigious gathering in the world of gastronomy will once again bring together the culinary elite, industry professionals, and food enthusiasts to celebrate the exceptional dining scene in this dynamic city at the recently opened One&Only One Za’abeel.
Destination partner Dubai is a leading culinary capital offering a wide variety of cuisines that reflect the tastes of nearly 200 nationalities who live in the emirate. The second edition of the MICHELIN Guide Dubai, released in 2023, featured 90 restaurants, up from 69 in the previous edition. This included three restaurants awarded two MICHELIN Stars, 11 with one MICHELIN Star, three with a Green Star, 17 Bib Gourmand establishments, and 59 MICHELIN Selected restaurants. The MICHELIN Guide Dubai is also a recognition of the chefs and other culinary talents who have chosen Dubai as a second home and a place to express their creativity.
Celebrating the Five Aspects of Dubai
The latest Dubai selection will be announced during a highly anticipated press conference, followed by a premium cocktail reception celebrating the Five Aspects of Dubai: Diversity, Sustainability, Future, Dedication, and Innovation.
This exciting culinary showcase will be helmed by five guest chefs, four of whom belong to the 2023 Dubai edition, and will present their creative gastronomic interpretations for each aspect.
- Chef Mohamad Orfali, head chef of Orfali Bros, Bib Gourmand Dubai 2023, will be reimagining Diversity;
- Chef Masanori Ito, head chef of Teible, MICHELIN Green Star and Bib Gourmand Dubai 2023, will be underlining Sustainability;
- Chef Thomas Allen, head chef of Dinner by Heston Blumenthal, One MICHELIN Star Dubai 2023, will be taking on Future;
- Chef Saverio Sbaragli, head chef of Al Muntaha, One MICHELIN Star Dubai 2023, will be showcasing Dedication
- On behalf of the host venue, Chef Anne-Sophie Pic, chef consultant of La Dame de Pic, will be demonstrating her take on Innovation.
Invited guests will be able to watch the chefs in action, have a chance to taste a dedicated menu of creative canapés celebrating Dubai’s culinary scene, and mingle among the industry’s most notable figures.
