Kevork Deldelian has been named chief operating officer of Millennium Hotels & Resorts in the Middle East.
Assuming responsibility for the strategic direction of the group, Deldelian will support Millennium Hotels & Resorts’ portfolio of 29 hotels and its 40-strong pipeline.
Commenting on the appointment, Ali Hamad Lakhraim Alzaabi, president and CEO, Millennium Hotels & Resorts in the Middle East, said: “We are delighted to have a business professional such as Kevork on board to lead the senior management team.
“With his strong owner relationships and a deep understanding of hotel operations, he is the perfect person to spearhead our expansion plans across the region whilst also ensuring the profitability of our current portfolio and delivering an exceptional experience to our guests.”
Deldelian has worked with international hotel brands – including Rotana Hotels, InterContinental Hotels Group and Qatar Airways Group Hotels – in 14 countries.
He joins from the role of vice president asset management at Tetra Hospitality Investment LLC, the holding company for the Lakhraim Business Group’s hospitality sector.
Working closely with the chairman, Ali Hamad Lakhraim Alzaabi, he oversaw Tetra-owned hotels, future developments and acquisitions.
Prior to this, he was regional director of The H Hotel Dubai, overseeing the strategy of the five-star property.

In the Middle East, Millennium Hotels & Resorts operates 29 hotels. It has 12 hotels due to open within the next year and 40 in the pipeline.
