Pierchic Dubai has launched its annual summer seafood festival, Shellabration.
From 22 July – 4 September, guests will have the opportunity to try seafood from around Europe, with a different specialty on offer each week.
The first week will showcase the flavours of a Marseilles seafood market, with bouillabaisse seafood casserole, a stew containing red mullet, monkfish, John Dory, razor clams, mussels and langoustines with a saffron and pernod sauce and gruyere croutons.
Pierchic’s sommeliers will be on hand to match the dishes to a selection of grape from South West France.
The following five themes in the six-week-long programme are Valencian Seafood Paella, Feast of St Antony, Posh Fish & Chic, Lobster Spaghetti from the Amalfi Coast and the Galician Octopus Fiesta.
Situated at the end of the pier at Al Qasr Hotel with views across the Arabian Gulf, Pierchic offers an ‘over-the-water’ dining experience.
Following a re-design in 2014, the restaurant now features an al-fresco dining experience via two ‘pod’ extensions along the pier. Rickshaws transport guests from pier to door.
