Jumeirah Al Qasr’s Pierchic has extended its sustainable menu and a la carte food offerings’ availability for the summer season.
Available daily for lunch and dinner, the specially curated set menu offers five courses and uses only homegrown and ethically sourced ingredients, emphasising Pierchic’s ethos of sustainability.
The new menu reinforces Pierchic’s focus on sustainability within the F&B industry, with the over-the-water dining destination adopting a stance against single-use plastics, banning straw and stirrer use and opting to serve mineral water in glass bottles.
Earlier this year, Pierchic also hosted a sustainability summit that brought together industry leaders to discuss environmentally friendly options for the F&B industry.
The menu was introduced as a new option for summer diners to mark World Oceans Day on June 8. Dishes include Dibba Bay oysters from the UAE’s only farm on the country’s East coast, a duo of local Hamachi and salmon ceviche with sweet potato and leche de tigre, lobster and locally produced ricotta ravioli, Dibba hammour with harissa, moutabal, koosa and lemon butter sauce and butternut UAE ricotta cheesecake with pumpkin puree and pistachio ice cream.
