The St. Regis Abu Dhabi has appointed Dimitrios Kotsifakos as its new executive assistant manager food and beverage.
Greek national Kotsifakos has 12 years of food and beverage management experience, having worked at hotels around the world, including Fairmont Le Montreux Palace in Switzerland, Hilton London Metropole and Ios Palace Hotel & Spa in Greece.
Kotsifakos first joined Starwood Hotels & Resorts in 2010 as complex assistant director of food and beverage in Costa Navarino, Greece.
In late 2011 he moved to the Middle East to join Grand Hyatt Dubai as assistant director of food and beverage before returning to Starwood in 2013 as director of food and beverage at The Westin Abu Dhabi.
He then relocated to Qatar to manage the food and beverage operation for Sheraton Grand Doha before returning to the UAE to take up his new position.
Kotsifakos holds a diploma in hotel management from Le Monde School in Greece and a bachelors in international hotel management from S.H.M.S University in Switzerland.
