Janet Abrahams brings more than two decades of luxury hospitality expertise to the prestigious resort in her new commercial leadership role.
Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates – Janet Abrahams has been appointed as the new Executive Assistant Manager of Sales & Marketing – Spa and Recreation at The St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi.
With more than 20 years of luxury hospitality experience and a highly successful commercial background, Ms. Abrahams will take up her new role as second in command for operational departments and will focus on the strategic positioning of the property.
The British national joins from an internationally renowned hotelier brand, where she most recently enjoyed a successful spell as EAM Sales & Marketing in its Abu Dhabi property covering all revenue generating departments.

With several coveted industry awards under her belt, Ms. Abrahams is a marketing professional with exceptional communication, leadership and team management skills and a wealth of experience in luxury international rooms and MICE sales & revenue management. A strategic business and budget planner, she is determined to find solutions to maximize resources and optimize potential.
Ms. Abrahams kicked off her hospitality career in the luxury sector in London in 1997 working her way up to senior commercial leadership roles at world-renowned properties across Asia and Europe. She is well-versed with the needs of the region’s diverse markets including Abu Dhabi, as she worked in the UAE capital from 2007 to 2011 as Executive Director for a luxury resort then as Area Director Sales & Marketing for the Levant Region for a global hotelier before moving to Beirut as Cluster Director Sales, Marketing, Revenue and Reservations.
About her return to Abu Dhabi in 2015 as Area Director Sales and Marketing, she comments: “This city is my second home, where I feel engaged and empowered to bring my best to serve both the community and international visitors. Ms. Abrahams quickly moved up to the role of Acting Deputy General Manager and Commercial Director covering all revenue generating departments.
