Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG) has entered into a long-term lease agreement with Nakheel Hospitality & Leisure to manage Jumeirah Islands Clubhouse (JIC), scheduled to open in April 2021.
Offering a family-friendly environment, the new leisure destination will be home to Isola Ristorante, The Pool, Joe’s Backyard Gastropub, and other non-F&B outlets.
Antonio Gonzalez, CEO of Sunset Hospitality Group, says: “Our mission at Sunset is to create experiences that bring people together to celebrate life, something we will once again be able to deliver at Jumeirah Islands Clubhouse. We’re curating a destination for people to experience unique concepts through our range of gastronomical and lifestyle options.”
Gail Sangster, Asset Director, Nakheel Hospitality & Leisure, adds: “Jumeirah Islands Clubhouse is a testament to our ongoing commitment to provide new and exciting dining concepts and new services to the residents and visitors of Nakheel’s communities. We’re certain that our collaboration with Sunset Hospitality Group will create a perfect environment that brings the local community together through this exciting all-day dining and leisure experience”.
Isola Ristorante is a new Italian concept. Inspired by the islands of Sardinia, Capri, Sicily and the like, it will offer a dining experience harnessing Mediterranean ingredients and Italian flavours, which pair with the serene island atmosphere.
Adjacent to the restaurant is The Pool, a riviera-inspired spot featuring aqua-based fitness classes, cabanas, a lounge area and an all-day food and beverage offering.
Joe’s Backyard at JIC will be the second outpost of the popular gastropub, boasting a menu of flame-grilled flavours from around the world. With events, a pool table, entertainment and live sports streaming, this neighborhood hangout offers a laid-back, casual vibe.
