The newest ultra-luxury resort to open in Saudi Arabia’s The Red Sea destination is getting ready to open its doors and welcome guests from November 2024. A year-round destination with summer temperatures that are far more comfortable than other parts of the Arabian Peninsula, Shebara is located 25 kilometers from the mainland, reached by a 30- to 40-minute boat ride or a 30-minute seaplane flight from Red Sea International Airport (RSI). The resort’s 73 overwater and beachfront villas shimmer in the bright sunshine, looking like a string of pearls floating above the turquoise waters of the Red Sea. The architecture by Killa Design is completely unique, with each stainless steel orb, whether above the water or on the beach, almost disappearing into the horizon as the surface refracts the light.
