Emirati food producer, United Foods Company (UFC) has unveiled its new Ghee product range at this year’s Gulfood trade show.
The new range comes under the company’s flagship brand, Aseel – a known Ghee brand across the Middle East and comprises of the new Aseel Trans Fat Free Ghee as a healthier option alongside Aseel Tahina.
The Aseel Trans Fat Free Ghee has been developed to resonate with new consumer trends of health
and wellness. A new generation product with buttery flavour and significant health benefits is available in two variants of Aseel Trans Fat Free Ghee with the elements of Sunflower Oil and Aseel Trans Fat Free Ghee with Canola Oil which is rich in Omega 3.
UFC’s second offering, Aseel Tahina is made from sesame seeds procured from Ethiopia and prepared by one of the oldest Tahina makers in the Levant region. It is then packaged after 35 stages of processing, including refining, filtering, peeling, washing, roasting and grinding without additives. Gluten-free and an important source of iron, Tahina is used as a dressing, marinade.
