Westin Hotels and Resorts, part of Marriott International, Inc has opened its first hotel in Egypt, The Westin Cairo Golf Resort and Spa Katameya Dunes.
Owned by New Cairo for Real Estate Investment Company, the resort and spa is located in the residential community of Katameya Dunes, anchored by a 27-hole championship golf course designed by world-renowned Nick Faldo and Brian Curley.

The new resort boasts 135 guestrooms and suites with each of the guestrooms offers views of the surrounding landscape and lagoons. Illustrative of the resort’s overall design, an art installation of white doves suspended from the ceiling is located in the serene and inviting lobby.

The hotel also features three dining options – a pool bar, golf club bar and Paloma – an all-day Mediterranean restaurant with an open-kitchen alongside the brand’s Vertical Garden, which brings the benefits of nature into the hotel’s public space.
