In her new role, Zainab will guide the resorts into their next chapter, one further defining its presence and the other poised for its debut, shaping a narrative rooted in thoughtful communication, experiential storytelling, and an elevated brand identity grounded in authenticity and purpose.
Tunkar brings over a decade of experience within Saudi Arabia’s luxury hospitality landscape, having held senior marketing leadership roles across some of the region’s most distinguished brands. Her career includes leading brand and communications strategy for The St. Regis Riyadh, as well as contributing to high-profile pre-openings and conversions such as JW Marriott Riyadh, alongside experience with international luxury brands including Sofitel. Her background spans strategic brand development, PR and partnerships, integrated marketing, digital optimization, and large-scale pre-opening launches. Known for crafting narratives that resonate with both local and international audiences, she is uniquely positioned to elevate the brand presence of Six Senses Southern Dunes, The Red Sea and Six Senses AMAALA across the Red Sea.

In her newly appointed role, Tunkar will oversee all marketing and communications functions for both resorts, guiding strategy across digital platforms, partnerships, content creation and holistic storytelling.
