The weather’s getting cooler and to celebrate the welcome drop in temperature, we have created a special treat for both our loyal guests, and those curious about what Mohalla is all about!
Introducing our special Winter Menu, featuring six spectacular additions to our menu, with new and bold flavours to experience. Amongst these vibrant new dishes are the Kale Pakoda Chaat – a crispy, crunchy, absolutely refreshing appetizer with sweet yoghurt, tamarind and mint chutney and of course, lots of fresh kale! Then we’ve got the classic Paneer Tikka with smoked sweet corn and some shredded Parmesan cheese, topped off with a drizzle of some special creamy sauce – the perfect dish to enjoy in our outdoor seating space!
Another outstanding dish is our Chapli Kebab, a Pashtun-style minced kebab that is a very popular street food item in Bhopal, Lucknow, Delhi, and Hyderabad. The Pashto name ‘Chapli’ translated into English means ‘flat’ which brings us to how this dish is made. Mutton keema, chopped onion, baby chickpeas, coriander and more, are pressed into a flat, round cutlet and shallow-fried to reveal a crispy texture. This is served alongside crispy potato salli that you’ll find yourself wanting second servings of. Other exciting dishes we are launching include the DIY Chicken Lettuce Wrap, Murgh Malai Methi, and Prawn Chettinadu.
The idea behind this menu was to add new flavour palettes to our dishes and create some surprising combinations for patrons to enjoy. We’re an Indian restaurant at our core, but we’re fascinated by the ways in which we can play around with traditionally Indian flavours and create dishes that are fresh and exciting, and this menu has been designed to do just that!
We would love to invite you to try this special menu and experience the vibrance of flavours we have brought together. Our special Winter Menu is available for diners starting from Friday, 1st December, so mark your calendars and we look forward to welcoming you to Mohalla!
