Expo 2020 Dubai will be home to the first-ever Vegan Food Festival in the Middle East.
A game changing culinary experience with flavours from around the world taking place over 3 weekends from 14th to 30th January, Friday through Sunday. Expo 2020 is proud to bring together the greatest selection of plant-based food to the region in association with Vegan Days. Party all day and night with an incredible line up of DJ’s till 2am.
Indulge in sensational sweet and savoury dishes from global taste makers and Michelin rated celebrity Chef Matthew Kenney to local street food legends Papa Burty’s serving up their famous Jamaican vegan patties. Take a stroll around the festival to enjoy an eco-marketplace filled with sustainable stalls, a vegan and organic spa, plus entertainment, Chef talks and activities throughout the day.

Created by Pastry Chef Kimberly Lin, Floozie Cookies offers signature “stuffed cookies” in five flavours and a seasonally changing sixth option. The UK-based brand has two locations at Expo 2020 serving up the vegan stuffed cookies.

Papa Burty’s – Jamaican Patties
Created by local legend and TV personality Layne Redman, Papa Burty’s is serving up world-famous flaky Jamaican patties. Originating from the humble British Cornish pasty, Papa Burty’s ‘done their ting’ Jamaican style, adding scotch bonnet and other typical flavours and ingredients to spice them up.

Holy Carrot is a UK plant-based restaurant serving Asian-inspired dishes with an international influence. They use only natural ingredients and focus on ethically sourced, seasonal produce, prepared in a mindful manner. On 29th and 30th January, Not Just For Vegans, the regions largest vegan pop-up market will take place in the festival garden with over 60 homegrown ethical brands selling everything from fashion, jewellery, accessories with handcrafted luxury items to every day essentials.
