Homegrown Dubai F&B concept, Lime Tree Café is celebrating its 15th anniversary.
The first venue under the brand opened in Jumeirah in 2001, offering health-focused deli-style food, with organic, Fair Trade coffee and tea.
Corinne Bowker, managing partner, Lime Tree Café commented: “When we first established The Lime Tree Café in Jumeirah, our vision was to become the familiar neighbourhood food store that provided a cosy haven away from home. Now, to be here 15 years later with three locations in Dubai, as well as catering & events division, wholesale and our provisions shops, our vision has grown more than we ever imagined or planned.”
Since its opening in 2001, the company has grown its team from 15 to 130 members, and has three locations in Jumeirah 1, Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Quoz.
It has also developed a strong retail element with a range of chutneys, preserves, crackers, flat breads, cookies, fudge and confectionery, alongside kitchen and home-ware items with bespoke Lime Tree linens.
In celebration of its 15th anniversary, Lime Tree Café will be offering in-store promotions, such as “15 carrot cakes for 15 days”, among other exclusive offers from Lime Tree’s in-house baking team.
“Dubai gives you that platform and opportunity to create and implement your ideas. As we continue to expand, we will always strive to ensure that our eateries remain a welcoming environment with focus on wholesome quality ingredients, freshly organic roasted coffee, and great service. It’s important for us to be mindful of our impact on the environment and to continue to be a positive influence in the F&B sector and the overall community in Dubai,” added Bowker.
