Yesterday evening guests gathered at The Lakehouse Luxury Villa for an intimate soiree where Chef Vanessa Bayma and her personally handpicked and professionally trained CBC team showed how private chef experiences go beyond ordinary catered events. Starting with a variety of floating canapes including Paprika Ginger Lobster Bisque vol eu vent, Oysters with a tangy chili lime Vinaigrette, and Red Snapper Ceviche tortilla bites followed by a live BBQ station, guests enjoyed bite sized succulent Rib-eye sliced steak with Mango chimichurri and Cajun Prawn Skewers with Mango Pico de Gallo, among other culinary twists.
Creating a theatre at the dining table, the CBC events team showcased a fine-dining set-up with an impressive dry ice presentation like nothing found in Dubai restaurants. The food floated on a cloud table to the delight of the guests. Additionally, to help pair the divine dishes with the appropriate beverage, a sommelier assisted and recommended the best according to the guests’ personal wine needs.
Chef Bayma inherited her passion for cooking from her fiery Sicilian and Brazilian grandmothers as she took to the kitchen at just 13 years of age. Her love of food has taken her around the world, working as Executive Chef, Catering Chef and Consultant for renowned hotels, resorts, private yachts and residences. With over 20 years hospitality experience, she established her own bespoke events firm in Dubai – CBC Events by Chef Bayma.
