The resort has announced the appointment of Khaled Sharabassy in the new position.
Sharabassy brings an extensive experience of more than 22 years in the hospitality industry to his new role. Prior to his appointment, he served as the general manager of Tilal Liwa Hotel, a property managed by Danat Hotels and Resorts in Abu Dhabi.
Known for his innovative and pro-active approach, Sharabassy is confident that despite the current challenges in the market Danat Al Ain Resort will remain on the top. On his appointment, Sharabassy said “It’s a great privilege to be back to Al Ain after a long time, and I will endeavor to ensure alongside with my team to continue to exceed our guest’s expectations and provide an exemplary personalised experience.”
Sharabassy is looking forward to putting his perspective in action to make sure that the resort’s performance in providing pleasurable and memorable experience for guests continues.
The new general manager holds a degree in Hotel and Restaurants Management and has been affiliated with International hotel chains including Kempinski Hotels, Intercontinental Hotels Group and now with Danat Hotels & Resorts since 2008. He has previously held significant managerial positions ranging from director of rooms and revenue operations, cluster director of e-commerce and revenue, and general manager.
