In August 2025, following Minor Hotels’ landmark strategic management agreement with Seven Tides for Dukes The Palm, Ahmad was entrusted to lead the newly formed cluster of Dukes The Palm and NH Collection Dubai The Palm. His appointment marks a pivotal step in shaping Minor Hotels’ dual-property strategy on Dubai’s iconic Palm West Beach — blending the timeless elegance of Dukes with the contemporary lifestyle vibrancy of NH Collection.
Career Highlights & Achievements
• InterContinental Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia: Ahmad spearheaded a complete commercial and strategic repositioning, elevating the hotel into the top tier of luxury destinations in the Kingdom. His leadership secured major F&B and rental partnerships that transformed the property into a lifestyle hub, driving both ADR growth and diversified revenue streams.
• Regional Director of Commercial, IHG Hotels & Resorts (KSA & Bahrain): During the pandemic recovery phase, Ahmad restructured the commercial division, localised operations, and delivered double-digit revenue growth. His strategic foresight not only stabilised the business but also built resilience in two of the region’s most competitive markets.
• Vice President of Commercial, Barceló Hotel Group: Ahmad led a successful brand repositioning across the Middle East portfolio, achieving significant revenue growth while reinforcing the brand’s presence in the region.
